	I just bought a brand new Xbox 360 Elite yesterday, and I was wondering if the Xbox 360 Elite had problems to where the the laser lens would hit the disk and scratch it rendering it useless. Does the Xbox 360 Elite have this problem? If so what is the best placement of the Xbox 360 Elite, horizontal or vertical, I will keep it on a very stable surface, well ventilated and very cool. Thanks.
A.	No, just make sure you put the disk in carefully- meaning it fits smoothly in the disk tray- and it'll work just fine.

	Problems like the Red Ring of Death. My 360 just died today and I don't feel like waiting for Microsoft to repair it or send me another one.
A.	dont be foolish microsoft extended the warranty to 3 years for free so get it repaired mine got repaired in only a month and they gave me a month of xbox live for free due to repair time and yes the elite has the same problems.

	Xbox 360 elite problems? im debating on a elite or ps3 i have no idea im leaning towards the 360 but i dont want this red ring of death crap. does this only happen if you play for hours straight? with the whole over heating thing, like how likly will it have problems? i dont play for hours on end maybe up to 2-3 hours then turn it off for awhile. will i have problems, or is it better to go with ps3 and wait for good games to come out?
A.	go with 360 better games plus halo 3 comes out on tuesday. i had the 360 for a while never did the ring of death. just buy a cooler for it.

	I want to purchase a Xbox 360 and I need some REAL answers PLEASE. Does the Xbox 360 Elite have a lot of problems these days? I've heard something about how the RROD or Red Rings of Death (or what ever) aren't happening as much anymore. Would it be a bad move to buy one of these? A.	Hey man, I recently got a Xbox 360 about 2 months ago and it is great. The RRoD barely happens now adays because of the new jasper chip that they installed. It will help cool down the xbox 360. The RRoD happens mainly because of over heating. So as long as you keep a lot of space around it it will be fine. Also the xbox 360 work good with a router, but the only problem is that you need an adapter to pick up wifi wich is 100 dollars. Or you can connect an ethernet cable to your router. That is what i do and it is a 50 ft ethernet cable. You can get the for $20 at wal-mart

	Today my xbox 360 was delivered to my home but when i turned my xbox 360 elite and when onto memory setting i saw some gamertag pictures and games already intalled. do xbox 360 has some minor games and some gamertag pictures already installed. If it's new, shouldn't there be nothing and fresh?. Please tell me if it's new or not and also how do i open menu screen.
A.	those games are minor, they are there to entertain you until you get full games. those pictures are substitute, you can take a picture of your avatar and use that, it's fine.

	I was thinking about going out and buying a xbox 360 elite because they dropped the price. But i was wondering if the new elites had any problems or did they change the hardware in it to make it stop having problems? Help Thanks
A.	If you are looking at new production models, the RRoD is no longer a real issue. The main source of the RRoD failure was due to overheating. This was caused by many different reasons. The main reason for the failure was due to poor cooling of the 90nm chip sets included in the first two versions of the system. This combined with users placing the Xbox on surfaces or on areas where it could not receive the needed airflow caused major overheating issues. The current chipset (Jasper) used a smaller 65nm chip set and consumes much less power resulting in lower heat output. Combined with better heat management in the consoles, the RRoD issue is not much of a concern on newer consoles. Also consider the warranty. Microsoft gives a 3 year warranty to repair a system suffering from RRoD free of charge to the consumer. All in all, it is a safe buy.

	Hi, recently bought a Xbox 360 Elite and when i plug it into my TV it makes a buzzing noise could this be because the TV i plugged it into is NOT HD, because i plugged it into a HD ready TV and it did not seem to make the noise then THANK YOU.

You can also change the console settings and tv out put settings in your xbox by going to system setings then console settings then Display chances are if you've been switching between tv's these settings wont be right for one of them hope this helps. but do try the switch on cable at the back of your xbox first
