So my question is, is it legal to make money off the site, whether its from ads or for charging people for a service?

what License is telling is that you cont sell the copy of the templet only, they are not tell that you cont make money with your site because your using there templet.

Programming & Design | | | I have a new community website at [Link] . The website portal was built by someone I am no longer in contact with and I would like to add new areas to the site and also to improve things but I simply have no clue what I'm doing.
If you take a look at the site you will see various links to other areas. The jukebox for example is a plain page with the music player embedded in but it looks plain and boring as does the games section. I would like to use free templates as a base for these sections but just do not know how to use them can anyone offer any help. It's a free to join, non profit group with a decent aim but needs assistance to get it lkooking good. I have very limited knowldge and use frontpage so any help would be appreciated.
Basic explanation please as i'm sort of thick where it comes to web design lol
| | A. | You will need to find a free template that appeals to what you are looking for. Edit the template and add your content. Changing a "free" web template is pretty self explanatory just delete/replace the "ipsum ad norta" filler content with your own.
Make the jukebox players smaller and spaced out at least 15px.

Do all pre-made CSS templates have errors in them?

| | A. | When you download a web template, the index file will probably be index.html, as that is what mainly perople use for static site.
PHP is a server side language, used for dynamic sites. Most templates will not use PHP becasuse it is not needed in that template
But when you do download the template, its is very easy to start using PHP in it. Just rename the file index.php, and you can start using it (if you have php on your server), normal HTML will work in it too.
