Just going there to use there table to study. I see people study there all the time but they buy lots of coffee while they are at it. The borders store in my town does not get crowded and theres plenty of table available, so not allowing other people room to drink coffee is not a problem (20 table in store, 3-4 usually occupied, 16 empty)
I don't drink coffee and can't afford the over price water bottle that they sell. So I bring my own bottle of water when I go study. Sometimes I buy there water when I forget to bring a bottle from home. I won't buy it if I already have water with me, I just don't have the money to spend 2 dollar on a bottle of water when I can get it for 12 cents when I buy in bulk at costco.
