okay me and my sister are goign to toronto shes 18 im 13 will we be able to get a apartment with a roommate? or are there any cheap apatments,we need it to be pretty close to everything... and how hard is it going to be to live there..
A.she is 18 (which is legal age) so she should be able to rent an appartment. its not all that hard if u budget your money. there are cheap appartments available but i will warn u, u will get what u pay for and they may be basement appartments. check out local listings in the Toronto Star and Sun newspapers (they are available online as well). there is a transit system (subway and busses) that can get u nearly any where u want to go and if u live in the city everthing will be pretty close, some things with in walking distance.

Is Toronto a good place to start acting? When I look on IMDb and search movies and where they have been filmed, a lot of movies have been filmed in Toronto because it is cheaper than the US. Plus, I see a lot of Canadian actors/actresses in movies now! So its a good place to start off right?

Q.How good is Toronto in comparision with top american cities ?Related Search:
Toronto
I am planning to immigrate to Canada and live in Toronto. I have heard Toronto is not that exciting place to live and work in comparision to top american cities like NY, chicago or SF. Just wanted to get your opinion.
A.Toronto may not have the "exciting" factor that NYC does, but it's still a great city. I've been to the cities you list and would choose Toronto to live in over the others. Toronto is clean and safe in comparison to the US cities, people are friendly and polite. We have top notch restaurants, theatre and events (Toronto FIlm Festival is the world's 3rd largest film fest, Gay Pride Parade, etc.) There's sporting events and teams, lots of natural scenery and a close distance to tourist attractions like Niagara Falls. There's beaches and lakes in the city. You have many of the same brand-name and designer shops. And there's also always some US movie being filmed here so there are celebrity sightings, major concerts, and a pretty good music and club scene here. it's also one of the most culturally diverse cities- with Greektown, Little Brazil, KoreanTown, Chinatown, Little Italy, Little India, Polish area, etc. Everyone is accepting and people don't a give a second look at mixed race couples, gay couples, or anything that's not Wal-mart "normal"-looking. The weather here isn't that bad and it's mostly exaggerated- it's cold from November to March and almost unbearably hot in the summer.

Q.How to get cheap shuttle from toronto to niagara falls without casino member card?Related Search:
Niagara Falls
How to get cheap shuttle from toronto to niagara falls without casino member card? There's a tour company offering rides from Toronto->Niagara Falls for $25 if you don't have a casino membership card, $0 if you do. Problem is, to get the free membership card, you have to be at the casino. So how do I first get there to get the membership card to get the discount for getting there? Is there another tour company that offers very low cost or free shuttle service from Toronto to Niagara Falls?
A.Not much cheaper, but on weekends and holidays you can take the GO train for $15.90 each way, then buy a ticket for the Falls Shuttle ($6). Go to the Players Advantage Club booth at Fallsview Casino and show them your Falls Shuttle ticket and GO train ticket to get the $6 back. You can pick up a membership card while you're there.

Q.Best time to drive from Toronto to Montreal during the morning or day?Related Search:
Commuting
Will be driving to Montreal next week from Toronto. I have friends telling me to leave at 4:00 AM from Toronto to avoid traffic. Honestly I want to sleep and be fresh for a long drive. Would 7:00-8:00 AM be too late to beat any traffic. Any traffic after 10:00 AM?
A.I would take off from Toronto before 6:00 AM and after 9:AM. 6-9am is the rush hours. Highways and roads are jammed up during these hours. 7 - 8 am is ok only if you know the road, by-passing Toronto from Keele+401 to Oshawa. Leave early or leave late.

Q.What are good some Toronto high schools with a great basketball team and high averages academically?Related Search:
Basketball
I'm in grade 8 right now, and am not so sure of my home school that everyone i know is going to... I need to look into high schools with a good basketball team and high academics, in Toronto! Any suggestions?
A.You are in high school...life is about more then getting into a good school to play ball. You can play ball with parks and rec or with leagues (outside of school) after school. Go to a high school in your neighborhood that is committed to sending kids to good universities with no consideration to the shape of their b-ball team.
