Military | | | Whenever I study about that war in school we somehow always end up talking about what happened in Srebenica. But that got me thinking, the incident happened in late 1995, 5 months before the end of the war.
Why would the Serbs do something like that right in the very end of the war?
What prompted them to commit such a massacre in the first place?
Weren’t there atrocities of mass proportion committed by all sides during the conflict?

Allow me to put aside all the assumptions based on quantity in the Srebrenica case, like if Serbs killed and raped 8000 people or up to 2000 could be accounted as "war crime", or if Naser Oric killed 300 or 3500 Serbs. The Srebrenica case comes down to several basic points:
The Srebrenica zone was declared "demilitarized zone" by UN. By UN biased standards, this meant that the Dutch UN kept a Bosnian Muslim battalion under Naser Oric. Naser Oric openly stated that his armed forces were taking no prisoners. It is obvious that there were war crimes committed by his forces. To kill just one prisoner in cold blood is a war crime. Is there any legal proportion to that? For example, what amount of depleted uranium is in proportion to 100 killed people? To what proportion are the 20 tons of depleted uranium thrown upon Bosnia and Serbia justified?
A Bosnian Muslim argument is based upon previous Serb activity, before the demilitarization. Bosnian Muslims stress that the Srebrenica zone demilitarization meant a "wider area", perhaps to the extent of all Serbs being demilitarized in entire Bosnia. :)
On the other side, you had Serb forces in the area. Local Serbs knew what Naser Oric was doing and what UN was doing, and were eager to take revenge. The Serb forces were too focused in the area, and having had less soldiers than Bosnian Muslims, needed to spread away as soon as possible. The Srebrenica offensive was a justified act, yet a political suicide. The war would have ended pretty soon with or without Srebrenica. So was decided by "those who decide".
When the Serbs attacked Srebrenica, they formed a U shape allowing women and children to leave away.
Under war logic and practice, it is not a war crime to hunt down and shoot upon a group of 50 people if only one in the group has a rifle... Correct me if I am wrong...
But, what Serbs did afterward was to displace the corpses... They did not call Christiane Amanpour to the spot and "hey, look what I've done!"
Media Manipulation gives you a picture that 8000 people were murdered and raped in cold blood. Perhaps those who control the media should be held responsible for escalating the Bosnian massacre.
The Srebenica event had elements of war crime. To call it genocide is political manipulation, sadly used by those who control the international standards of justice and coexistence. The term "genocide" is still used like "Serbia committed genocide on Bosnia" or "Serbs did to Muslims like Germans did to Jews."
All three sides committed atrocities. In terms of quantity, the proportion you speak of can be stated as 6:3:1. This means that for every 3 bullets a Bosnian Muslim fired, a Serb fired 6 and a Croat 1. That is why it is idiotic to speak of quantity, although the Hague International Sacrifice Altar of Invincibility goes even beyond the 6:3:1 when executing the losers - Serbs. Speaking beyond the political gameplay, what matters is the qualitative aspect.

That is one sad answer. This person is only focused on Serb crimes. The critical overblow of the Srebrenica event was not the Serb exaggeration which was unheard of until recently, but the one CNN did which came in chorus with what needed to happen in Bosnia.
Answers like these are based upon the picture that there was only one guilty side and one victim side in Bosnia and that the two sides have no correlation in the escalation of events. That stance is taken by those who win the war and try to rewrite history in order to wash their own bloody hands, which is being done in the Hague Sacrifice Altar of Invincibility. In the first place, they come from countries which ignited the war in Bosnia and are carriers of "our civilization", along with news factories and corrupted UN elements.
The Jasenovac in comparison to Srebrenica is the "Serbs are doing to Bosnian Muslims what Germans were doing to Jews", which was a media manipulation created by the Jewish media house Ruder Finn. (Serb were demonized into "genocidal" whenever the attention needed to be defocused from a Muslim atrocity or any similar story.) This is specially sensitive when contemplating the recent German role in ex Yugoslavia. It simply needs to be noted in the context of German post war revival and aspiration, and is something you can draw your own conclusions upon.
In Jasenovac, the Croats backed up by Germany, were exterminating Jews and Serbs just like they did in "Oluja". Croatia recently accused Serbs for genocide. The Serbs counter-accused because of "Oluja". The international community will decide "what is best in the "current western political constellation against Russia in the already seen fashion when many Germans were pardoned for their war crimes because they were needed against post-war Soviet Union".
Beyond all that political crap, it is a blessing that we are capable of discussing these issues in international forums. We as individuals need to rise above whom we perceive as our enemy and figure who our real enemy is - the manipulation of media which has become a science of domination in which Truth is just a political product. | | | |

That is a very large generalisation.
Stay away from sites like Stormfront.They are racism sites involving racist people and certainly do NOT represent that opinions of the majority of Croats or Serbs.
I guess some racists take "white supremacy" as anyone who is white skinned whereas other racists might take "white supremacy" as only white skinned people who are of Nordic or Germanic background.
In anycase it doesnt matter,it is all racism regardless.
People who have these opinions can be hurtful & soemtimes even dangerous.
Noone is more "supreme" then another regardless of race,gender etc.
Again,please avoid sites like that,& dont generalise the majority of people because of sites like that.
Also,pray for them if you have a faith belief or just ignore that part of my answer if you dont.
