Q.How old would I have to be to work at a small regional airport?Related Search:
Aircraft
I have always enjoyed watching airplanes. How old would I have to be to work at my small regional airport? My airport is East Texas Regional Airport.
A.It kind of depends. Some small FBOs really don't have a minimum age, and I've had 15 year old kids fuel my aircraft (who probably had more hours than me!). Larger airports like GGG probably have municipality oversight. There are lots of places to work there, but I would ask the airport at their site: [Link] / See what they say. Don't underestimate the folks in aviation. They are usually willing to help a young person who is interested in flying, if they can. Good luck.

I'm flying from Atlanta to Nuremburg and I just realized that the Nuremburg airport does not have customs. Will I have to claim my bags and go through customs at the Paris airport? Also any tips for this procedure would be appreciated.
A.Yes, you will be going through customs in Paris. If you have an hour in between flights, you won't have any problems. And Nuremberg is such a tiny airport that you'll be out of there in no time.

Chicago
I am a single lady fixing to move to the area and want to make sure it is a safe area. :) Thank you!
A.Well, being single and near a military training facility, you should have a good rotation of young men around at all times. Me. personally, was stationed there a couple of times and thought that the area was really boring and to military controlled. Not sure if you'll feel that way being a civilian, but you might get annoyed with the mass amounts of military constantly being around you.

A.The airport authority and the FAA will both keep the logs. I do not know if they will release them to a private citizen. Good luck, I hope you the best.

A regional airport is an airport serving traffic within a relatively small or lightly populated geographical area. A regional airport usually does not have customs and immigration facilities to process traffic between countries. In Canada regional airports usually service connections within Canada and some flights to the United States. A few U.S. regional airports, some of which actually call themselves international airports, may have customs and immigration facilities staffed on an as-needed basis, but the vast majority serve domestic traffic only.

Aircraft using these airports tend to be smaller business jets, private aircraft and regional airliners of both turboprop propelled or regional jetliner varieties. These flight usually go a shorter distance to a larger regional hub. For medium-size countries like France, Germany, Sweden, a regional airport is an airport used with smaller planes, even though they go to the national hub, just like flight from larger domestic airports.
