| Q. | Why are Americans so outraged about the UK releasing the lockerbie bomber when they harbour Orlando Bosch? | Related Search: Politics | | | He also blew up a plane. Yet the US doesnt even jail him. So why the outrage?
| | A. | Omg really? I had never heard of that person till now and looked them up. The US government also even didn't do much to stop "irish americans" funding the IRA to blow up innocent people here in the UK. It's hypocrisy at it's finest.
Oh after reading some of these answers, apparently cause the people who that bosch person killed were not americans it doesn't really matter but cause most the people killed from the lockerbie bomber were american it matters to them. Apparently you have to be american to be viewed as valuable! How sad, all human life is valuable, why does nationality seem to be such an issue to the US government and even to *some* american citizens!
If it's not their citizens being blown up or on their soil, the US government don't care!
SJM- bill clinton did that? omg what a selfish idiot, (bill clinton is the idiot, not you obviously!)

on what moral basis?
| | A. | He was pardoned on the amoral basis that he was/is anti-Castro and one of "our" terrorists. | | | |
| Q. | If blowing up a passenger aircraft is a despicable act of terrorism, why does the USA shelter Orlando Bosch? | Related Search: Politics | | | The failed bombing of a Detroit bound flight on Xmas Day has the USA in a righteous fury about Islamic terrorism, yet I have never heard anyone from the USA criticise the US government for providing a haven for convicted plane bomber Orlando Bosch. Yet more double standards from the world's #1 terrorist nation?
Judicator; two things. First, where in my question do I claim Bosch is American? Second, terrorism is the deliberate targeting of civilians or civilian property in order to further a political or religious ideal. The USA has killed millions of civilians in the last half century, and has a proven track record of deliberately targeting civilians. That is terrorism.
| | A. | The US picks and chooses their terrorist.
Orland Bosch is a terrorist, but the US says he is a friend.
Jeb Bush is his buddy. Yet 73 people were blown up in a commercial flight by this bastard.
Just like in the 1980's, Osama Bin Laden was a friend of the US.
Reagan and Bush gave him money and weapons.
| Q. | Why does the U.S. support terrorist like Orlando Bosch? | Related Search: Politics | | |
I see some actually condone terrorism. What a convenient hypocrisy.
@dstr
I believe he was being sarcastic. I've seen his prior postings on this matter.
@ Bev B
A republican, I might add; actually condones this. But why am I not surprised!?
| | A. | He was a CIA operative. His job was to get them before they got us, and business was good. Get over it. | | | |
| Q. | Why is 0bama allowing terrorists to be free? | Related Search: Politics | | | Between that guy who bombed that airline getting released today, and Orlando Bosch and Luis Posada Carriles walking around free in the streets; 0bama is openly allowing Islamofascist mass murderers to be as free as us.
Why?
| | A. | Good Question!
Why Obama does not prosecute George Bush, Dick Cheney, John Asscroft, and Ronald Dumbsfeld for High Crimes Against Humanity is beyond me!
Terrorist is defined as "One who uses violence or the threat of violence to further their own political ideas"
The lies about the reasons for the Bush/Cheney Iraq War, the manipulation of the terrorist warning levels to scare Americans into supporting the Bush Cheney corruption, the torture, and the political fear and hate mongering make the Bush/Cheney White House henchmen fully culpable as full blown terrorists.
But, sadly, Obama is allowing these terrorists to be free!
| Q. | Does Cuba have the right to bomb the US for harboring suspected terrorists? | Related Search: Current Events | | | In early April, "a Spanish-language Miami television station interviewed notorious Cuban terrorist Orlando Bosch, who offered a detailed justification for the 1976 mid-air bombing of a Cubana Airlines flight that killed 73 people, including the young members of the Cuban national fencing team.
As usual, Bosch refused to admit guilt, but his chilling defense of the bombing – and the strong evidence that has swirled around his role – leave little doubt of his complicity, even as he lives in Miami as a free man.
Another Cuban exile, Luis Posada Carriles, also has been tied to the bombing, but the Bush administration has so far rebuffed Venezuela’s extradition request for him, since he sneaked into the United States in 2005."
- Robert Parry, author of "Secrecy & Privilege: Rise of the Bush Dynasty from Watergate to Iraq"
| | A. | Nobody has the "right" to bomb anybody else. There are always innocent civilians who are hurt or killed. For me that's never alright. What would be alright is if the old smelly crusty politicians and statesmen bomb the hell out of each other and leave the rest of us alone. | | | |
