12 bacon-wrapped filet mignons from Omaha Steaks is $139 (sale price $69) so for that alone I guess it's worth it. I guess you could say I paid for the filet mignon and got 17 additional pounds of beef on top of that.
I did call Omaha Steaks and they said they are in NO way affiliated with Ranch House Steaks. So the salesman lied about that. Big surprise, huh? LOL

Of course I have been doing my research (Columbia, MO is one such place), but it's hard to scan the entire country. Yes I am willing to relocate. No I am not concerned about work. I can find work anywhere. Yes I want an urban area. No it doesn't have to be a big urban area. For the record, I am single, and have no kids.

| | A. | Indianapolis, IN. We have a growing urban area, a low crime rate and you can get at least a 3 BD ranch in a nice area for 125k. The people have that midwestern friendly attitude but we are growing and our downtown area provides quite a bit of entertainment. I would take a look at [Link]  to see the homes listed.

I went to my local hardware store and purchased a 3 light AC outlet tester which shows things like, open ground, open neutral, etc. This states the outlets are wired correct. It says it does not indicate quality of ground in the directions. My house has an earth ground and a ground to the water pipe. Could the ground connections be bad? Is there any way to ensure a really good ground? Any suggestions?
| | A. | You need to get a electrician in to check out your house if you are in doubt. He will use a earth ground meter to check your ground. You do not use a megohmeter to check ground on your house, that's used for checking insulation on motors. By code you must have a 8' ground rod driven into the ground, plus your water pipes bounded to your service as well. But just because you have a 8' ground rod that doesn't mean its enough. You must have 25 ohms or less to be considered properly grounded. This will all depend on the soil make up. Sandy soil is not as good as loam or clay. You may have to drive 16' or more to get under 25 ohms, doubling the length of ground rod reduces the resistance by 40% you may sometimes even have to drive multiply rods ten feet apart from each other, and connected together to drop the resistance, or place rock salt around the ground rod to make the soil more conductive. | | | |
