Did you learn the geography and history of Brazil at American schools and universities?
At my Brazilian schools, I've learned the geography and history from the USA.
| | A. | Yes. Not much of it though.
I will go only by Grade School Teachings. You can learn anything in a US University.
We learned of the Colonization of Brazil, by Portugal. The Amazon Rainforrest, and River. It's Borders with other countries. It's History, is not much we focused on. We grouped it in with Spanish Colonization of America, which was more significant an event.
There's not much we did learn in Grade school. But enough to know it exists, and who the people are.
And Like I said. You can learn anything in a US University. | | | |

| | A. | Somewhat, but very briefly. Of course we know the Amazon River and the Amazon Rainforest. Mostly just South America in general. It's good that your nation is opening up educational windows. I applaud your educational system. If only we could learn more about Brazil instead of the basic features. | | | |

| Q. | Can someone please give me some backup on Brazilian history? | Related Search: History | | | I'm very interested in traveling to Brazil one day, and I was doing research on the history of Brazil, but I found very little. If anyone could give me some interesting things to look up, some links, a time period, or something like that, that would be great. Or if you could simply tell me about the history.
| | A. | Tessa,
I think that just tell you about the history would be a little bit difficult, because we have so many to tell. So I still think the idea about the links is better:
