| Q. | hip hop ???????? | Related Search: Etiquette | | | As a black guy i think that hip hop is pure evil and should be banned. Hip hop is Black nationalism. If blacks hate white natonalism then maybe they should stop making this crap called hip hop. I mean even the clothes of hiphop is awful its like what homless people would wear. We should dress normally
i am black
Mill how can it be racist if i am BLACK
| | A. | As a black woman, I feel that SOME hip hop music is degrading, disrespectful, and demoralizing to the Black Race. However, I do not think it is evil, nor should it be banned. Music is a form of self expression and let's not forget the right to free speech. If this is how our young African Americans choose to express themselves, then so be it. It's a way for many of them to get out of the ghetto and support their families. Hip Hop music has changed the lives of many people and provides jobs for a lot of people who may not have such an opportunity had it not been for Hip Hop music. I feel that there needs to be a wake up call, and Hip Hop music should be more about uplifting our people and doing positive things rather than glorifying sex, money, and drugs. There are very positive artists out there such as Common, The Roots, Nas, Mos Def, and Talib Kweli. Not every hip hop artist is like 50 Cent, Akon, or Ludacris. There are some out there who actually have something positive to say without desrespecting women. You have a choice not to listen to Hip Hop music, and that's what you should do. | | | |
| Q. | Hip-hop!!!!!!!? | Related Search: Blues | | | I have to do a project about the Hip-Hop Culture!Do you Think that hip-hop culture means only violence, and "dirty" language or it's more than that???
| | A. | oh please all of you need a little education, it is so much more than that. You need to dig deeper to get into the roots of hip hop / rap to understand what its all about.
It was never about the crap it has transformed into.
Rap was about telling a story and educating each other, it was about having a good time and celebrating individuality.
It wasn't about calling women hoes, guys nig**rs, and bringing anybody down.
It has been castrated and mutated into a social and economic form of pop music. In the beginning it was designed to lift the spirits and moral of people in the neighborhood now it has turned into a way to suppress them.
What you categorize, today, as rap is nothing more than twisted pop music crap.
If you do this project, I hope you uncover the true meaning of rap and dig deep to uncover its true virtue. I really hope you do and maybe can make someone understand.

The reason peole dont like/bash hip hop is because they're ignorant bitches. They diss rap when all they hear is the shi.t on the radio. It really sows how many rock fans are stubborn bastards.
I love rock, but some fans just aggrevate me
