| Q. | David Cozen UK focus puller/film crew movie set looking for any picture of him? | Related Search: Photography | | | I am wondering if this is the David that I met while on the set of Fred Claus in Chicago. Does anyone have any contact info or a photo? Thanks
| | A. | I did some searching but came up empty handed... sorry. You might try looking for a union for film specialists in the UK. He could possibly be tracked down that way. | | | |
| Q. | Where can you get one of those focus wheels? | Related Search: Camcorders | | | I'm really wanting to get one of those wheels that the focus puller uses which mount on a rail beside a film or video camera. What exactly are they called, and where can I get one?
Thanks!
| | A. | its called a follow focus and you'd need lenses that are actually equipped to be compatible with a follow focus, meaning they would need the gear around them. and the focus puller is usually the 1st AC. | | | |
| Q. | Ford Focus Fuse Puller? | Related Search: Ford | | | I'm trying to get at my fuses in my 2001 Ford Focus but I'm lacking needle nose pliers or anything else I can use to pull them out. Does the Focus come with a Fuse Puller somewhere in the car? I've looked around the fuse box but haven't found anything yet.
| | A. | Look in the fuse box itself. If not, look underneath the top of the fuse lid. Should be a WHITE color. | | | |

I think I listed everyone If I cosider to go through with this project this will be the first High budget film I have financed.. My 2 questions are 1) Since I am the original creator will I have full rights to the copy right and not the producer? Will I pay everyone before or after the movie comes out in theatres? do I copyright the movie before or after it's creation? thanks for your help
| | A. | You copyright the screenplay first and hold the rights that way. You pay everyone as the film goes along and any bonuses after the release (if that is in the contract. You do have a contract with everyone, right?)
If you are funding the production, YOU are the producer. You need a studio who will distribute said film (Look at what Mel Gibson does, OK?) | | | |
| Q. | how to remove stuck ford focus rear drum? | Related Search: Maintenance & Repairs | | | grinding noise, dont think its the bearing as no play.
had brake shoes fitted 2 weeks ago, think rear drum flange is catching steel backing plate.
removed hub nut but drum stuck on.
have obviously removed handbrake and wheel turns freely so cant be shoes holding it.
Any ideas?
where can i get a drum break puller
| | A. | Most times the reason the drum sticks is the center opening binds on the axle flange. Also some drums have a small, thin clip on one or more studs which hold he drum in place. These can be removed the same way you unscrew a nut. If it's still stuck a squirt or two of silicone spray or WD40 around the drum center will usually get it free. Just don't go over board with the spray as you don't want it on the brake shoes. Usually you just have to use a lot of persuasion and pull in jerks at various points around the drum until it gives up and comes loose. | | | |
| Q. | When you go to the cinema do you stay for the closing credits? | Related Search: Movies | | | I'm up and outta there once it's over, I don't really give a toss who is the lighting technician, or the visual effects supervisor or the set decorator, some guy I've never heard of is much the same as some other guy I've never heard of.
But I notice that quite a lot of people stay seated while the credits are rolling, what's with that?
So what about you, do you sit there to see who is the key grip or the focus puller?
What about when you watch it at home on DVD?
Some movies the credits will roll for up to 10 minutes, do you read them or hit eject pronto?
| | A. | Sometimes there's a piece of music that I want to identify, and they always (of course) put the music credits at the end. | | | |
| Q. | Why do they have credits at the end of films? | Related Search: Movies | | | I mean like apart from the cast and producer and director, why do they list hundreds of people like gaffer, assistant grip, foley editor, focus puller, driver, etc.?
Do they really think anybody cares who the continuity editor or project accountant is?
When I go to a concert they don't give me a list of all the stagehands, cashiers, janitors, ushers, lighting technicians, etc.
When I buy a book they don't list everybody who was involved in printing, publishing, proofreading or marketing do they?
So what do you think, why do all these people get a credit?
| | A. | I do understand your point in comparison of film to a concert/books/etc., but I'd have to agree with jks here. It's mainly for screen credit, and they do deserve a little something for their efforts. And if you don't care about the credits? Then it's easy...just get up and leave :p. Film is also an expensive medium, so you have to cherish that 12 point font of your name scrolling up because more often that not, that's your only screen time in the film. | | | |
