| Q. | How can you tell if actors have sexual chemistry? | Related Search: Theater & Acting | | | I was kind of curious, because several years ago, when I was reading about Robert Reed's (a.k.a. "Mike Brady") homosexuality, it was mentioned that many found it apparent that he and Florence Henderson (a.k.a. "Carol Brady") didn't have sexual chemistry. How can a person tell whether two actors have sexual chemistry, though? Not only that, but how does that account for the success of the Rock Hudson-Doris Day movies? After all, everybody thought they had chemistry and it was only much later that it was discovered that Rock Hudson was gay.
| | A. | It's just one of those things that comes across. Hepburn and Tracy had it. It is undeniable between Pitt and Jolie. It is also painfully obvious when it is not there. I think the Hudson-Day connection was because they truly cared about each other. | | | |
| Q. | Concerning Machiavelli and Italy's Politics at the time? | Related Search: History | | | I was wondering if anyone could help me with this: How does Machiavelli judge contemporary political actors in Italy, and especially Florence?
| | A. | His most memorable mission is described in a report of 1503 entitled "Description of the Manner Employed by Duke Valentino [Cesare Borgia] in Slaying Vitellozzo Vitelli, Oliverotto da Fermo, Signor Pagolo and the Duke of Gravina, Orsini" with surgical precision he details Borgia's series of political murders, implicitly as a lesson in the art of politics for Florence's indecisive and timorous gonfalonier, Pier Soderini.

| Q. | If you were proclaimed Supreme Ruler of Planet Earth what would be your first 3 orders? | Related Search: Government | | | *Maybe disarm USA-they don't seem to know how to handle power.
*What about close down all the world's coal burning factories.
*Sack all the world governments-you a benevolent dictator (hopefully) and who needs those money sucking parasites eg Soherto, Bush et al.
*Maybe you would initially be less humanitarian and globally inclined for the first few weeks so as to take care of your own needs.
*Maybe a party to honour your promotion with all your favourite bands and actors/actresses in attendence.
*Hey be creative!
*Maybe a home delivered pizza from Florence Italy. You are the supreme commander remember. Nothing is too much trouble.
Thanks guys keep them coming!
Great ideas!
| | A. | My first order would be to have everybody educated in sound economic theory.
My second order would be to have everybody educated that committing acts of aggression against other people is immoral.
My third order would be to shut down all governments and to resign. | | | |
| Q. | Can anybody identify this TV show? I watched it in the '80s, but might have been older? | Related Search: Other - Television | | | There was a host, who invited different historical characters to sit at a table and discuss different topics. So for example you would have a debate between Attila, Florence Nightingale, Pocahontas, Gandhi and Socrates, each defending their own opinion and showing their personalities and life experiences in the discussion. I think it was an American show, each actor was well made up and dressed to look exactly like the characters they were impersonating, and the debates were extremely interesting. Anybody has any idea what the name of the programme was? Many thanks!
| | A. | Meeting of Minds- with Steve Allen--it was an interesting show

| Q. | Who asked about the actors in the movie, Dreamgirls? | Related Search: Celebrities | | | Someone asked who did the actors portray in the movie, "Dreamgirls". As you already know, Beyonce portrayed Diana Ross, Jennifer Hudson portrayed Florence "Flo" Ballard, who was the founder of the group, Anika Rose portrayed Mary Wilson, and Jamie Foxx portrayed Berry Gordy. I am not sure who Eddie Murphy portrayed, but the new singer that was brought in to replace "Effie" portrayed Cindy Birdsong. Does this help?
