| | A. | 1. Drink ONLY water. This is a major help
2. STOP eating the second you get full...even if you only have 2 bites of food left.
3. Do about 15-30mins. of cardio daily. Just break a good sweat.
Bonus: Do a few crunches a day to tone up what you're losing. It's quite simple.
Good luck!! | | | |
| Q. | How much is an old Sunday School paper worth dated February 10, 1895? | Related Search: History | | | This was found in one of my uncle's old books. My husband and I inherited all of his books. He used to be a Baptist minister, and this is a Sunday School paper that they used to give out in church back then.
| | A. | Make sure that you keep it in a dry place where it is protected from the weather because it may get damaged or lose value if it is not in the good condition.
what you need to do first is check if there is any parts that are historically significant. After that see if there are collectors of old news papers or other people that may be interested. perhaps check to find people around town if they dabble in the business of that

| Q. | Still im Looking for the birth certificate of my mother who was born last February 10, 1937? | Related Search: Genealogy | | | My mothers was born in San Miguel, Leyte. But she just registered her birth certificate last May 2007. But as of now we dont receive result that her birth certificate online in the system. We dont have any connection to that area. We spent more than 6,000.00 to go on that place last year. And were here in mindanao, province of Zamboanga del norte. So please help us to settle this.
| | A. | Write a letter to Civil Registrar of San Miguel, Leyte copy furnished to the Civil Registrar of the capital of that province.
You have Late Registration of her birth certificate. If the office there accepted the registration, surely you have a copy of her birth certificate.
You can never have that online. Not all towns or province can afford computer. Some are only using manual typewriter.
Surely she have relatives there. Write to them with return and stamped self- addressed envelope.
Ask the help of y0ur Congressman/Senator. Through Fax machine you can get your mother's birth certificate. Most politician have computer and fax machine.
| Q. | How can my friend lose 10 pounds by February? | Related Search: Diet & Fitness | | | Okay my friend is 13 yrs old, their height is 5'5 and they weigh 125pounds-130pounds (somewhere there)
Yes, they are a girl.
So anyone have exercises/eating certain foods/tips for them to do every day which will let them lose at least 10 pounds by February if they start doing all of it in September?
Thanks.
| | A. | First and foremost, make sure that your friend eats enough.
A low calorie diet would stunt the growth of a teenager still growing.
Your friend has already an average height of 5’5, so it would not be such a big deal if she stops growing but wouldn’t it be nice if she does not stunt her growth and keeps growing to be tall (until about the age of 21)?
There are three groups of people, the one group who does not need a lot of calories, the one group who needs an average number of calories and the one group who needs a lot of calories. A teenage girl would be in the average group…
Teenage boys, active men, and very active women : about 2,600 to 3,000 calories
Children, teenage girls, active women, and sedentary men : about 1,800 to 2,200 calories
Sedentary women and some older adults :1,200 calories to 1,600 calories.
A 5’5, 125lbs woman (like me!) needs only 1,200 calories (before exercising).
A 5’5, 125lbs teenage girl would need 600 more calories (before exercising), just because she’s still growing.
Also it’s not just about the weight. It’s about how fit you are.
Since I’m 5’5 and I can relate, I’d rather be 125lbs, doing aerobics and weight training, in great shape, thin, toned with muscular definition, feeling strong, being strong and eating whatever I want…than be 120lbs with a little belly, not exercising, out of shape, weak and flabby and counting my calories intake while watching my metabolism goes down because I cannot maintain my muscle mass.
A healthy diet (so you don’t get hungry or clog your arteries with junk food), aerobics and weight training is all your friend really needs.
It’s not really about losing 10 pounds by February, it’s about losing a few pounds of fat reserves with aerobics (3,500 calories of exercising for each pound) and gaining a few pounds of muscle mass with weight training (crunches, push-ups, lunges, squats, heel raises, working with light weights too).
Muscle mass takes 3 times less space than fat reserves, so you get thinner when replacing your fat reserves (doing aerobics) by muscle mass (doing weight training), without even losing weight.
Losing 10 pounds of fat reserves in 5 months (September to January) could be achieved by losing an average of two pounds a month, roughly half a pound a week, which is about an average of 250 calories of aerobics daily (about one hour of exercising). It’s the best rate of weight loss (the slower, the better). You would not really see it on the scale, since the fat reserves loss would be offset by the muscle mass gain, use a tape measure instead because you, I mean your friend, would get thinner.
Aerobics can be anything that makes you breath harder…walking/jogging, bicycling, swimming. Teenage girls like dancing, cheerleading and doing sports.
The most important thing is to also do weight training, so you get stronger and the aerobic part gets easier and more efficient, your metabolism goes up (each pound of muscle mass needs 50 calories a day to maintain), so your fat reserves loss goes even faster.
Adding muscle mass to your body really is the closest thing to a weight loss miracle. It’s very sad that a lot of people see this miracle as a curse, because for them it’s just “weight”!
You cannot lose weight or maintain your weight if you don’t have enough muscle mass.
Once your friend gets to the point where she’s in shape, thinner, toner and stronger, she will have to keep exercising and weight training to maintain her muscle mass (muscle mass is the key to keep the weight down) and she will have to start eating more.
I wish you both the best.
| Q. | I have a dance February 10 and I need to lose weight...In my butt and stomach Can someone help? | Related Search: Diet & Fitness | | | I was getting dresssed yesterday and I was fine with my thighs, calves, etc. But not my butt or my stomach. I want to lose five pounds and have a flat stomach and a firm butt. I can't tell if I have cellulite or not and I have a little "bump" at the bottom of my abdomen. You know how the mid-stomach curves inwards and then goes out? How do you get rid of that? I am really self-conscious because I don't know what a little bit of cellulite looks like and I really don't want it. Does anyone know how to get rid of that and flatten your stomach with quicker results? I have a dance on Feb 10th and I need a flatter stomach and firmer butt. Any help?
| | A. | You seem like someone who has a perfectly fine body-- one that many people envy! It sounds like you don't need to lose weight, you need to build muscle, in order to address the issues you are have trouble with. I'd suggest crunches-- they truly work if you're motivated and do them every day-- and also the ab roller is GREAT-- it tones your abs immediately with very little effort and you can get it at Walmart. For your bum, do squats whenever you get a second-- they're easy to incorporate in your day and they work! Also lunges, with or without weights. If you don't own weights, common household articles like soup cans and things of that nature are easily substituted. Have a wonderful time at the dance, I know you'll be beautiful! | | | |
