A.I think that this means that we will no longer be able to control who is let in to Britain anymore and that Brussels can send as many of their Eurotrash layabouts, unwanted immigrants(African and Asian,) and criminals that we British people will lose the majority here and be forced to accept their oppressive laws. We will be second class citizens in our own homeland, Three cheers for the traitor Gordon Brown- nose for selling us all out to people that hate us and will suck us dry.

Bush was going to send 6000 National Guards to the border to tighten border control. Mexico is trying to get reps in the US to sue because tighter border patrol will force illegal immigrants to use more dangerous routes and thus cause more deaths. What do you think about this issue?
A.As a nation we need to protect our border, just as Mexico protect their southern border. Illegals need to wait and go thru proper channels in order enter the US.

What are the benefits and disadvantages of having a strict border control??
A.It's economy..... If I wasn't bound to paying taxes, paying for health care and child care, I'd be ALL for true community. However, because I pay into a system that is operated by MY taxes, I just don't think it's fair for illegals to reap the benefits of MY effort at work when they don't contribute. I make 24 dollars an hour, I have a family of four, I don't get health insurance right now and can only afford coverage for the kids. My wife and I aren't even covered. I work an average of 45 hours a week and my wife is a full time home maker and works part time during the Christmas season ( and she busts her butt and is an AWESOME wife and mother.) We work real hard and it just irritates me when other people who don't pay their way are getting better services than my family does. There are 18 Mexican kids in my sons school who get a special classroom with a spanish speaking teacher, sure they were born here but their parents are not paying taxes and are sending green cash to Mexico via Western Union while my kids are in overcrowded classrooms of 28-34 students per teacher. They use our roads, use our water, clog our emergency rooms to get treatment for a cold or a toothache, they line up at local food banks, and offer NOTHING in return!!! To answer your question......... I want more border control.... I say start kicking some major a*s to turn "non-contributers" away. ....If you wanna play.......you gotta pay.....otherwise.....GO AWAY!!!

Q.If we are serious about border control why don't we use the Military?Related Search:
Immigration
Why can't we use the military on the borders to control the traffic coming and going on the border. We have troops over seas controling their borders. Why not our borders? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. What do you think? If we made five hundred feet on our side a militry zone could we then make it legal? With reference to the constituon.
A.First off let me say that I'm pretty sure that whether it's legal to use the US Military is a matter of interpretation, not absolute. You are not supposed to use the military for law enforcement, but in this particular case you have a foreign group invading our sovereign border. Their intent is immaterial, this is not some police action against our people,it's protection of our border from invasion. It is a legitimate national security concern which should be taken care of by our military, they are best equipped for the task. Is it a stretch? Perhaps, but any President worth having would put the troops on the border and let the chips fall where they may. Unfortunately it seems our elected "representatives" have decided to sell us to the lowest bidder. YTP

Border control
Border crossing between Germany and The Netherlands

Border controls are measures used by a country to monitor or regulate its borders

The control of the flow of people, animals and goods across a border may be controlled by government Customs services. Security is enforced by various kinds of Border Guards and Coast Guards. Official designations, jurisdictions and subordinations of these agencies vary.

Border controls exist to:

The degree of strictness of border controls depends on the country and the border concerned. In some countries, control may be targeted at the traveller's national origin or other countries that have been visited. Others may need to be certain the traveller has paid the appropriate fees for their visas and has future travel planned out of the country. Yet others may concentrate on the contents of the travellers baggage, and imported goods to ensure nothing is being carried that might bring a biosecurity risk into the country. In the member states of the Schengen agreement, internal border control is often virtually unnoticeable, and often only performed by means of random car or train searches in the hinterland, while controls at borders with non-agreement states may be rather strict.
