| Q. | How long can do I have to squat on a piece of land before it becomes legally mine? | Related Search: Law & Ethics | | | This guy in england recieved a 4 million dollar plot of land for squatting on it for 21 years in england.

So how long in say florida?
| | A. | Your question is not so simple. First of all, there is no such thing as "Squatter's Rights". It's called Adverse Possession. And there are several flavors of AP which have their own statutory requirments that must be met.
For example, in florida:
Adverse possession under color of title (Fla. Stat. section 95.16)
An adverse possessor can claim property under color of title if he meets the following two conditions:
The adverse possessor must show that the claim of title to the land is based on a recorded written document (even if faulty). The adverse possessor must genuinely believe this document to be the correct claim of title (see Bonifay v. Dickson, 459 So. 2d 1089 [1st DCA 1984]; 2 Fla. Jur. Adverse Possession section 10; Seton v. Swann, 650 So. 2d 35 [Fla. 1995]).
The adverse possessor must show possession of the property by doing one of the following to the land for at least seven years:
Cultivating or making improvements.
Protecting by a substantial enclosure (usually a fence).
If not enclosed, using the land for the supply of food or fencing timber for husbandry or the ordinary use of the occupant.
Partly improving a portion of a recognized lot or single farm, making the unimproved part, if in the custom of the area, considered occupied.
Adverse possession without color of title (Fla. Stat. section 95.18)
When an individual continuously occupies a property for seven consecutive years, lacking any legal document to support a claim to the land's title, he may establish adverse possession by: filing a return with the county appraisers within one year of entry onto the property, and paying all taxes and liens assessed during possession of the property.
The property is considered possessed only if the individual:
Cultivated or improved the land, or
Protected the land by a substantial enclosure, which is usually a fence (see Mullins v. Culbert, 898 So.2d 1149 [Fla. 2005]). Tax deed alone is insufficient to establish adverse possession or color of title (see Bentz v. McDaniel, 872 So. 2d 978).
In Missouri, the duration of such possession is ten (10) years. Missouri Code §516.010-.030 And the requirements under color of title and without title are practically the same.
| Q. | Newcastle player signings 2010? | Related Search: Rugby League | | | Does anybody know of ANY player signings for the Knights in 2010, I haven't heard diddly squat, even marathonstadium.com.au didnt give me anything.
2 be honest I don't think we need to sign any more players right now, we've developed alot of those average players like fa'aoso and houston into good players
but, getting back on topic, ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING?!!
Yeah Knights 09, I think that the knights have developed into a strong family unit,
| | A. | You're right, we dont need to sign anyone. We have our whole current squad on contracts that last until the end of at least 2010 except for I think the MacDougall brothers & Matt Hilder but pretty sure they will re-sign soon. All year we have been re-signing our players which I couldnt be more happier with. They all seem to have a strong bond & many players have said they play for each other so the best thing to do is keep them together. Im loving where the team is going, we have done well to recover from the huge player losses over the last few years, I really hope this Knights team stays the same for a long time. | | | |
| Q. | Should I do these daily to increase soccer speed? | Related Search: Other - Soccer | | | Sorry about the title I just need some clear cut yes or no answers.
[Link] ... try this out as well as 3x 10 reps of squats, extensions and calf raises.
5x1 min skipping or jumping on the spot, and some plyos.
I dont have access to weights and i was wondering if these done daily would be effective in muscle toning to make me quicker, in quads and calves
| | A. | If you are looking for fast foot movements then include excerises which use or incorporate a 'ladder', skipping jumping are good cardio but will do little to increase speed in terms of sprinting.
As with most things the best training exercise is the actual event itself. Sets of sprints over varying distances but the trick is to do it in ways which will not become a boring routine.
| Q. | I need a router to hook more than 4 computers together/to the internet.? | Related Search: Computer Networking | | | Currently we're using this router - [Link]
ADSL2+ Modem Router
DG834
It's working great, except we currently have 7 devices (computers, laptops, Wii, ect..) all trying to hook up to it on CAT5e Patchleads. The result - we're always ripping eachother's cables out of the router (and I mean ALWAYS!)
I honestly don't know squat about routers/switches/whatever else... but I need something that can take at least 8 wired connections - and allow the computers to share files in... "Mshome / view workgroup computers" Wireless would be a bonus because the Wii could use it - but I don't really mind.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me what I need to look for? I'd really appreciate the help i'm completely lost, lmao.
| | A. | Get a switch to hook up to the router. This will extend the number of ports you can plug into.

| Q. | buy laptops.... retail store or get built privately ? | Related Search: Laptops & Notebooks | | | hi, im looking at buying a laptop. i will be looking at between $1500-2000 price range. Australian dollars
it will be a replacement for the desktop, (which is old and slow, celeron 2.8 400mhz,128kb L2 ), to reclaim the computer room for extra space.
I dont want to get ripped and get a piece of junk like i did when i bought my desktop from a custom build store that was ready made. i have done my homework now, and i know that processor clock speed means jack, its more about the f.s.b and the L2 cache and ram.
It will rarely if at all, leave the house and go mobile, so weight is not a factor.
i want to browse/ open/close web pages as quick as possible(like lightning), sites like facebook, hotmail, yahoo, ebay and general browsing. So i have heard of express gate?your thoughts.
I want to store 500-1000gb of video,music, pics. faster R.P.M =better? 7200,10000
Burn dvd's quickly and mp3 cd's.
play blueray disks.
watch video on a plasma, 50-60inch screen.
play music thru my pioneer surround sound system, cos it pumps.
I dont play any games.
I have never used, and am not familiar with a MAC.
Rarely use office, maybe the odd letter or resume.
What sort of wireless/bluetooth devices will be beneficial?
Should i stick with xp or go with vista, i mean i dont need it do i?
Should i get it built custom. Ive heard good things about this company [Link] > and their hardware is cheap as, so i figure their computers will be too.
I was going to have a crack at custom building a desktop for the 1st time, as im pretty cluey and have done my homework. Is it just as easy/economical to build a laptop.
Is it true brands dont mean squat, its whats inside that matters?although some people are recommending toshiba and dell, and say stay away from hp.
your thoughts on any or all of my many questions are appreciated, more detailed the better.Thankyou.
| | A. | well if you're not doing any graphics/ games etc, you won't need a fancy graphics card, but make sure you get something with a fast processor coz with laptops, you can't upgrade the processor.
however you can upgrade the Ram and the hard drive.
personally i wouldn't go for a custom made laptop unless you're looking for something that you can't find in retail. (eg gaming laptop)
Brands do matter.it's the same as anything else. like cars, shoes, sunnies, watches etc. some brands are better quality than others.
i would recommend a Toshiba laptop over any brand. Toshiba laptops have a failure rate of 0.4 percent.( the industry standard is 4 percent)
the other thing that you have to consider is the warranty support. if you buy a custom made laptop, only the people who made it can do the warranty support. when you buy a branded laptop ( specially toshiba) you get authorized service centers in most major citys. Toshiba have an international warranty and a very wide range of authorized service centers around the world. their warranty repairs are quick and they also have courier pickup and drop off australia wide.
for what you're using i would propably go for one of the higher end toshiba A300's .
also i wouldn't suggest having all of your videos/ photos only on your laptop, if you want 1TB hard drive, i say get an external one, that way if something goes wrong with your computer, you don't lose all that data.
here's a good australian site, where you can get some more info on the range of notebooks available. they're also authorized service center. they're located in Perth but do ship australia wide.

hope that helps

| Q. | would "walking lunges" be a good thing for me? | Related Search: Diet & Fitness | | | so, I have what is called "movie goer's knee" or "patellofemoral-pain-syndrome".
[Link]
My doctor said I got this from lack of exercise due to my sit down job and recommended me to get exercise regularly and the pain would go away. I worked on this doing leg lifts and riding the bicycle and the pain went away but it is back now because my efforts started to slide. I don't have access to a gym nearby and want to exercise my legs on a regular basis while I can watch a movie or something so I don’t get bored. My body frame is such that I don’t need to lose weight or need to build muscle. I would like to get some exercise indoors instead of riding a bicycle and don't have room for a stationary machine except for loose dumbbells. I remember when I went to a personal trainer years ago, 90% of the work he had me do was holding dumbbells, using a workout bench, doing lunges, squats, or standing with dumbbells in hand.. I am wondering if just doing squats or lunges without holding weights would be good for me? I think I just need to exercise the quadriceps and cycle the knee caps to make the pain go away. My doctor said for my condition I could snowboard and I wouldn’t hurt anything internal though I would probably feel pain afterwards. I think lunges or squats would do the trick but thought I’d check here to see if there were would be any helpful replies.
| | A. | Honestly.. this is too hard to answer here because that affects everyone differently. I would consider hiring a personal trainer.. even if it's just for one month. Lunges would probably be much easier on you than squats though. | | | |

Thank you in advance if you answer this =)
| | A. | Wow. That's all I can say. You're doing well but cut the baked potatoes and the butter. Substitute that all with sweet potatoes. The pizza isn't good and neither are ethe chicken nuggets. Pick one or the other :)
