| Q. | Does anyone have information on correct landing attitude of a Schleicher AS-K13? | Related Search: Aircraft | | | A club I belong to ownes 2 AS-k13'S. We want to find information on the correct landing attitude of the glider. Our flight manual does not give the correct landing attitude (main wheel, tail wheel, tail and main, skid and main.) I have searched the net and can not find any information that was sourced from Schleicher Aircraft Corp. in regards to the correct attitude.
we are not looking for opinions the club has enough of those we are looking for sourced Schlieker information. Most sources (Germans) say tail and main first, but once again opinions are not enough. We need proof.
| | A. | You'll touch down level on the main wheel. Just level out a couple of feet off the runway and add spoiler until you settle in. Hit the tailwheel first and you do some damage. It's just meant for ground handling mostly. Wont even stay together if its on the ground and you make a sharp turn on rollout. Never touch down skid first. | | | |

| Q. | What is a successful prospective and attitude ? | Related Search: Other - Social Science | | | Like what kind of attitude do sucessful people have about themselves, life, relationships, etc. Also like what type of prospective outlook do they have? And what causes them to develop their outlook and attitude? Give details please.....thx!
| | A. | I am going to try my best here, because this is kind of a vague question.
I think u would put most of these kinds of ppl into the "go getters" category. I think they probably have 'tunnel vision" when it comes to accomplishing things. Most ppl i know get distracted easily and are unorganized making things difficult to resolve.
So if u can align yourself with those qualities and have discipline i dont see why U too could not be like them. All of us really | | | |

| Q. | What is a healthy attitude and consumption of alcoholic drinks? | Related Search: Diet & Fitness | | | I have been a over drinking for around say 4 years may be more but not a full blown alcoholic in the physical sense.
I had a discussion in with my wife about drinking sensibly and next week I am going without a drink to see how I really feel about drinking physically and phychologically.
I do not want to stop drinking as in teetotal as that to me is extreme and I enjoy a beer and a wine and would not deny myself the pleasure. But I do not want to drink where it is unhealthy but have a healthy sustainable enjoyment that maybe be beneficial..
I am 38, 6' 2" and weigh 220 lbs.
Some advice would be nice that I could use and give me food for thought as I develop my practice and attitude to a more healthier way of life.
| | A. | A drink or two on the weekend to me is social drinking and any amount of drinking that causes you to loose control or become abusive tends to be a problem. If you think you were tending to having a problem you probably were, good that you saw it. | | | |
| Q. | What is the victorian attitude to the supernatural? | Related Search: Psychology | | | What is the victorian attitude to the supernatural? What did they think about it? Some say they thought it was a monster that follows you (but this is really fear).
| | A. | They were fascinated by it and actually, a whole movement stemmed from this. There are entire communities of Spiritualists throughout the world. In the US, two come to mind, Lilly dale in NY State and Cassadaga in Fl. Spiritualism is real and involves the study of the paranormal and metaphysics. In the Victorian period, some of the wealthy families would hire "mediums" to perform seances and read fortunes or the future. The hope was for the family to communicate with a loved one who had passed on. There is a very famous story of two girls, sisters, who could reportedly talk to spirits through a serious of knocks on the wall. At some point, this was disproved and admittedly faked. This is just a bit of history about the movement and there is a TON on information on the internet. Just google spiritualism and it will take you YEARS to read everything about it. | | | |
