| | A. | I work for the Graduate Students' Association at AU (we are a separate entity from the university, so I am not a university employee), and all of the students I've had the opportunity to speak with are very happy with their experience at Athabasca. Of course, there are complaints. Just like any other university, things aren't perfect.
But, AU is a legitimate university and, despite its open admissions policy, it offers challenging and engaging courses, at least at the graduate level (I can't speak to the undergraduate level, but I believe that it is also of a very high standard). | | | |

Hi, [Link]  . Well, Athabasca has partnership with UWO. Well, mine is not on the list.
And that is my concern.

Just make sure that this particular course is acceptable to your present University. Maybe check with your Registrar's office to make sure before committing any money.
BTW I took a course at Athabasca U and the credit transferred nicely to UWO.

| | A. | My daughter had to take a semester off because of illness and took 3 courses through Athabasca, mostly in the Health Science. She found that while the courses were not pushovers, and were by no means easy, they were not particularly difficult either. They were genuine university level courses and you have to expect the same level of difficulty as at a lower end state or provincial university.

It sounds amazing, but I'm wondering what kind of accreditation a graduate would have from this school. Nothing against online schools, but damn, I wouldn't want to get a degree and then not be able to find a decent job after.
