Q.I think there should be an Anderson Cooper 360 videogame. What do you think?Related Search:
Video & Online Games
I think there should be a videogame where you play as Anderson Cooper from Anderson Cooper 360. You get to go out to different locations on a variety of topics and collect all the valuable information, ask the right questions (multiple choice) and then fly back and present a newcast. This determines the kind of advertising dollars you get for the show, determines the landscape of the political scene using public opnion and determines the effect your news coverage has on changing the world, sort of like Syndicate Plus but without bionics. What do you think?
A.That would be amazing, sort of like Carmen Sandiego. It's a great concept that I know a bunch of people would love to play. Bonus rounds would be like dodge the bombs, avoid the paparazzi, and survive the fans during book signing. Very cool idea!

Q.Anderson Cooper 360 (tonight): Did you know that McCain flunked out of the Naval Academy?Related Search:
Elections
(But the boards gave him another chance. It was a mystery to most of his classmates. No mystery to me --- His father and grandfather were both Navy Admirals and good friends to the Naval Academy Commander. )
A.Exactly and then he placed 894th out of 899th in the academy. He was just and still is a "no good". Look at this video on his flip flopping and OuT AND Out LYING: [Link]  Next, take a look at this article; he says the divorce from disabled Carol McCain is "all his fault" but later flip flops on that also: [Link]  The guy is a liar and is creepy too. He is very deceitful so says his old military ex-friends. In his book "The Nightingale's Song it states: Robert Timberg chronicled McCain's post-Vietnam military assignments and some of his "adulterous" behavior leading to his divorce from Carol and marriage to Cindy Hensley. Timberg wrote, "in the fall of 1974, McCain was transferred to Jacksonville as the executive officer of Replacement Air Group 174, the long-sought flying billet at last a reality. A few months later, he assumed command of the RAG, which trained pilots and crews for carrier deployments. The assignment was controversial, some calling it favoritism, a sop to the famous son of a famous father and grandfather , since he had not first commanded a squadron, the usual career path." While Executive Officer and later as Squadron Commander McCain used his authority to arrange frequent flights that allowed him to carouse with subordinates and "engage in extra-marital affairs." Such behavior was a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice rules against adultery and fraternization with subordinates..Timberg wrote, "Off duty, usually on routine cross-country flights to Yuma and El Centro, John started carousing and running around with women. To make matters worse, some of the women with whom he was linked by rumor were subordinates . . . At the time the rumors were so widespread that, true or not, they became part of McCain's persona, impossible not to take note of." In early 1977, Admiral Jim Holloway, Chief of Naval Operations promoted McCain to captain and transferred him from his command position "to Washington as the number-two man in the Navy's Senate liaison office. It wasn't long before the "fun loving and irreverent" McCain had turned the liaison office into a "late-afternoon gathering spot where senators and staffers, usually from the Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees, would drop in for a drink and the chance to unwind." In 1979 at a military reception in Honolulu, McCain met Cindy Hensley, an attractive 25-year-old woman from a very wealthy politically-connected Arizona family. Cindy's father, Jim, founded the Hensley and Company, the nation's third-largest Anheuser-Busch distributor. McCain described their first meeting, "She was lovely, intelligent and charming, 17 years my junior but poised and confident. I monopolized her attention the entire time, taking care to prevent anyone else from intruding on our conversation. When it came time to leave the party, I persuaded her to join me for drinks at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. By the evening's end, I was in love." While still married to Carol, McCain began an adulterous relationship with Cindy. He married Cindy in May 1980 -- just a month after dumping Carol and securing a divorce. The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii. ---------------------- McCain followed his young, millionairess wife back to Arizona where her father helped catapult McCain into politics. Today, Cindy Hensley McCain is chairwoman of Hensley's board of directors. Hensley and Company financial reports show assets worth a minimum of $28 million for the McCains. [Link]  More pics of Carol (Shepp) McCainm his ex-wife: [Link]  ------------------------ "And yet despite his popularity as a politician, there are those who won’t forget his treatment of his first wife. Ted Sampley, who fought with US Special Forces in Vietnam and is now a leading campaigner for veterans’ rights, said: ‘I have been following John McCain’s career for nearly 20 years. I know him personally. There is something wrong with this guy and let me tell you what it is – deceit. ‘When he came home and saw that Carol was not the beauty he left behind, he started running around on her almost right away. Everybody around him knew it' ". [Link]

Q.Do you watch AC(Anderson Cooper) 360? Why or Why not? Do you watch just because he is handsome?Related Search:
Media & Journalism
I watch AC 360 once in a while. I watch his show for many reason. The fact that he is handsome is a plus. I have watched him since he was on Channel One. He is great at what he does. When he does a story he seems like he is having fun and really cares about what he is doing. Not only does he make the news interesting, but he seems like he knows his stuff. I find it interesting that my great uncle a few years ago was blown away by the fact that I knew who he was. We were watching CNN and I said that is Anderson Cooper. I told him about Channel One and he was very impressed that I knew his name and so much about him. My uncle told me he was not crazy for him, but at the time I told him I was not to crazy about him either. If my uncle were to tell me again that he did not like him I would say I really enjoy him. He makes the news interesting.
A.I happen to like Anderson Cooper. He does a very good job. He is into journalism because he wants to be--not for the money. He is independently wealthy. We need more like him.

TV.com summary

Anderson Cooper 360° (commonly shortened to either AC-360 or 360) is a two-hour television news show on CNN, the first hour usually broadcast live, hosted by Anderson Cooper.

360° is broadcast from CNN's Time Warner Center studios in New York City. The program covers a number of the stories of the day, usually through live or taped news reports from the network's correspondents. The coverage can also include analysis from experts on the issues, commonly featured in or after the taped reports. The first hour of the program is simulcast live on both CNN and CNN International at 10 p.m. ET which makes the show available to people around the world. The second hour is a repeat of the first hour except for breaking news situations or select special interest stories.

Cooper often anchors the program from the site of a major news story, such as his extensive coverage from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

360° launched on September 8, 2003, as a laid-back news/talk program running for one hour at 7 p.m. ET. During Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath, CNN executives noticed an impressive ratings boost of NewsNight due to Cooper's on-site reporting as well as Cooper's growing popularity. The executives decided to cancel NewsNight and expand 360° to two hours in length starting November 7, 2005.

On September 13, 2007, CNN revealed that 360° would revert back to the one-hour format, with a replay of either Lou Dobbs Tonight or the upcoming Campbell Brown program taking the 11 p.m. timeslot. Until a final decision is made, the second hour will continue to repeat the first hour's broadcast. [1] However, when news warrants such as October 30, 2008, with the 2008 Presidential election only a few days away, the full two hours will be live.

On September 26, 2007, 360° began broadcasting in High Definition on CNN HD.

Frequent analysts and contributors to the show include CNN's Chief National Correspondent John King, Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley, Senior Political Analyst David Gergen, Senior Business Correspondent Ali Velshi, Joe Johns, David Mattingly, Randi Kaye, Gary Tuchman, Drew Griffin, and Jeff Toobin. Other contributors include radio talk show host Roland Martin, truTV's Lisa Bloom, and psychiatrist Dr.Drew Pinsky.

"The Shot" features light-hearted pictures and video clips usually sent in by viewers. "What Were They Thinking?" shows items or eventus considered to be strange and peculiar. "Beat 360" shows a picture to viewers who are invited to provide a humorous caption at AC360.com; one viewer's caption is read of the air at the end of the hour. "Giving 360" honours people who have done good deeds for their respective communities. Erica Hill often provides quick review of other news stories of the day during the "360 Bulletin" before the bottom and top of the hour.

The second hour of the program is usually a rebroadcast of most of the first hour. The second hour may go live for at least the first few minutes if breaking news develops. Occasionally an hour-long, pre-taped, in-depth report about an issue of special interest will air during the second hour.

[edit] Supplements to the TV show

The show's website (at AC360.com) provides its visitors an overview of the show, what topics the next broadcast will cover, and areas to suggest content for the "Keeping them Honest," "Beat 360" "The Shot" segments. A podcast and videos of previously featured stories are also available at the website.

The website also features a blog which gives viewers an inside look into the stories Anderson Cooper and other CNN correspondents are working on for the show. Visitors can provide feedback to the blog articles. Cooper (or the replacement host when Cooper is away) and Hill do "live blogging" where they use the commercial breaks to add entries to the blog during the first hour.
