Q.How is it working as an Aircraft Cabin Cleaner?Related Search:
Aircraft
As anybody worked as an aircraft cabin cleaner? I didn't think it would be a bad job until I realized you have to clean the bathrooms. Are you actually scrubbing or just refilling toilet paper? How bad is it? Or is the job not as bad as I think?
A.Hope you like the smell of blue juice. Make sure the hose on the cart is attached securely to the plane, it makes a HUGE mess when it comes off in the middle of a job. Then theres the passengers that can't hit the target. Luckily i'm a mechanic and don't do that crap... Have fun!

Q.is it possible for an aircraft cabin to be fully sealed and oxygenated like a spacecraft?Related Search:
Engineering
have engineers tested a fully sealed and oxygenated aircraft cabin before? what were the effects on the pilot?
A.Yes, it is possible, but not practical. It is expensive to build a completely sealed system, a lot harder to maintain, and in an airplane's case it just is not necessary in the first place. All commercial airliners are pressurized. With pressurization, the need to seal an aircraft is eliminated. Think of it like a leaky balloon: air is always getting out. But if you can keep more air going in, it stays pressurized and keeps it's shape. The airplane can always get more air, it's swimming in it. In real life it's much easier, safer, and practical to make an airplane pressurized rather than sealed.

Q.Will my fountain pen leak in an aircraft cabin?Related Search:
Aircraft
I have to catch a flight tommorrow. What should i do?
A.Probably not. The cabins are pressurized so even at 30,000 feet, your body (and the pen) will feel like they're at ground level. So feel free to take your pen with you.

Q.Why is it that cabin crew cannot assist passenger to lift bags into the overhead locker in the aircraft cabin?Related Search:
Air Travel
The website says the same thing too (BA). It happened to me a couple of times. I thought it strange that no asisstance was rendered. I couldn't lift my luggage on my own but was fortunate that another passenger offered to help.
A.Because that's a lie!! When I was a flight attendant, the airline I work for had a rule that the inflight crew were required to help customers load their bags into the overhead. That's our job to assist customer, to attend. When a flight attendant tells you that they cannot help you, to put it mildly, they are full of shit!! I've seen some of our pilots wheel customers in wheelchairs, carry infants. I've personally put customer's bags in the flight deck when I couldn't fit their bags in the overhead. Every customer was offered assistance from me before they even attempted to put their bags in the overhead. It's the the cabin crew being jackasses!

Q.What is the whiteboard made from used to project inflight movies onto, in the aircraft cabin ?Related Search:

Cabin of a Boeing 737 (Economy class) with typical seating arrangement

An aircraft cabin is the section of an aircraft in which passengers travel, often just called the cabin. At cruising altitudes, the surrounding atmosphere is too thin to breathe without an oxygen mask, so cabin pressurization adapts the cabin to atmospheric pressures.

In commercial air travel, particularly in airliners, cabins may be divided into several parts. These can include travel class sections in medium and large aircraft, areas for flight attendants, the galley and storage for in-flight service. Seats are mostly arranged in rows and alleys. The higher the travel class, the more space is provided. Cabins of the different travel classes are often divided by curtains, sometimes called class dividers. Passengers are not usually allowed to visit another travel class cabin in commercial flights.
