| Q. | When I start my 2nd pack of BC pills, do I also have to use a back up BC method for the first 2 weeks? | Related Search: Women's Health | | | The first month of taking the pills, I was told to use a back up BC such as a condom for 2 weeks. I will start my 2nd pack soon and was wondering if I will have to use a back up BC for 2 weeks as well. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
| | A. | this was just in the first 2 weeks of taking bc, you have to wait for the hormones in bc to get into your body.. by now the hormones are going through your system.. however using a second form of bc such as a condom is always a safe practice | | | |
| Q. | What does missing 2 bc pills do to your body? | Related Search: Other - Pregnancy & Parenting | | | What does missing 2 bc pills do to your body?
does it make you ovulate?
| | A. | Missing even one pill can cause spontaneous ovulation. So if you miss even one birth control pill, use a back-up method such as condoms for at least a week if you remember all the rest of your pills. It can also cause your period to be early. It is very important to take your pills at the same time every day. Because even with perfect use, there is a failure rate. (Ask me how I know. I was in that 1% it failed for with perfect use. I took it every day at the same time, I never missed a pill, and yet, I got pregnant.)
Since you pretty much just copy/pasted this question again, I just copy/pasted my old answer.

| | A. | Sorry, no, there is no other way apart from taking hormones (eg. BC pills).
Best you can do apart from that is cross your fingers or pray, or maybe both :)
good luck! | | | |
| Q. | What was the world population in 1445 BC and what was it in 2,900 BC? | Related Search: History | | | We know that in about 1445 BC 600,000 Israeli adult people exited Egypt. They must have been between 5 and 20 percent of the population (or between 8 and 17 percent speculatively speaking); we know this because they were considered to be important socio-economically to Egypt. The population of the world was probably 8 to 13 times that or thereabouts. Also see Genesis chapter 11 which takes us from about 4990 BC to about 2900 BC near the end of Peleg's era, and to nearly 2,000 BC.
Also 2,700 was probably about the height of the pyramid age, what was the population of Egypt. Formula for population growth (though you don't need it to answer the main questions) is Population = initial population time the series product of (1 + rate of growth) to the power time: P = A( 1 + r)^t

| | A. | 1 billion was reached in 1802.
2 billion was reached 125 years later in 1927.
3 billion was reached 34 years later in 1961.
4 billion was reached 13 years later in 1974.
5 billion was reached 13 years later in 1987.
6 billion was reached 12 years later in 1999.
From the figures above, the world's population has tripled in 72 years, and doubled in 38 years up to the year of 1999.
Including a few more estimates (beginning with 250 million around AD 950 and ending with 8 billion in 2027), the world population was doubled by the following years (doubling times in parentheses):
AD 950 (650) 1600 (202) 1802 (125) 1927 (47) 1974 (50) 2027,
or (beginning with 375 million around year 1420):
1420 (300) 1720 (155) 1875 (86) 1961 (38) 1999.
| Q. | Can (ab)² + (ac)² + (bc)² be a perfect square when a, b and c are integers? | Related Search: Mathematics | | | I am very interested in finding theconditions – if such conditions ever exist – that (ab)² + (ac)² + (bc)² is a perfect square.
Please help. Thanks!
Sonny Torreli, if you put a = 2, b = 4 and c = 5 then you get (ab)² + (ac)² + (bc)² = 564 which is NOT a perfect square! We're dealing here with integers, right? Kindly read the question and details.
Thanks a lot Semyaza for a very comprehensive proof!
By the way a, b and c should be whole integers (non-zero).
I still welcome alternative answers. Thanks!
Thank you very much Duke for contributing a very good approach to my math problem!
| | A. | Let ω = a² + b² + c² where c = a + b.
(ab)² + (ac)² + (bc)²
= a²(b² + c²) + (bc)²
= a²(b² + c² + a² – a²) + (bc)²
= a²(ω – a²) + (bc)²
= a²ω – a²a² + (bc)²
= a²ω + (bc – a²)(bc + a²)
Consider
a²
= (c – b)²
= c² – 2cb + b²
2a²
= c² – 2cb + b² + a²
= ω – 2cb
Thus ω = 2a² + 2cb or ½ ω = a² + cb.
Recall (ab)² + (ac)² + (bc)² = a²ω + (bc – a²)(bc + a²).
This reduces to
(ab)² + (ac)² + (bc)²
= a²ω + (bc – a²) ½ ω since ½ ω = a² + cb.
= ½ ω [2a² + (bc – a²)]
= ½ ω [a² + bc]
= ½ ω (½ ω) since ½ ω = a² + cb.
THUS (ab)² + (ac)² + (bc)² is a perfect square when c = a + b since (ab)² + (ac)² + (bc)² = ½ ω (½ ω) and
½ ω (½ ω) is a perfect square.
Hope this helps! | | | |
| Q. | Which should i get Borderlands or Battlefield BC 2? | Related Search: Video & Online Games | | | I have modern warfare 2 and its my favorite game, but now i want a more realistic feel although i like the weapon variety in borderlands but i also like the tactical feel of BC 2 which one should i buy?
| | A. | BC2 hands down, it is so fun multiplayer, if your into single player the campaign is good but nothing special, bc2 multiplayer is amazingly good however its a completly different playing style to MW2, u can spot people who play mw2 to much as they are the people sprinting out in the open and are easy to snipe XD. | | | |
| Q. | Went off my bc over a month ago to TTC. I was taking 2 packs in a row. How long does it usually take to come? | Related Search: Trying to Conceive | | | I took one pregnancy test the day after it would've come if I was still on the pill, and it was negative. Does the fact that I used to take multiple bc packs back to back affect when i would get my periods now?
| | A. | Hi!
I came off my pill in Feb and i used to take my packs back to back also. It took 35 days instead of the usual 28 to get my first 'real' period. Since then i have had a 49 day cycle, 37 day cycle and am now on day 26 of another. So my body has gone a bit crazy!
The other ladies are right. It takes time for you body to regulate itself again. I have started to do ovulation strips which i buy cheap in Wilkinsons so i know exactly when to have sex. I wouldn't worry about anything unless you don't get a period for a month or so. If still nothing then you can go to your doctor and discuss it with them! Good Luck :)
